EU – "Politically correct" consumer protection

A Guinness Records Award for the distribution of bribes, and secret political agreements, or just the usual brown-nosers?

Weapons of mass destruction - Anti-smoking advertising"Ammonia is the key to Marlboro's success … Marlboros contain up to twice as much of a cancer-causing chemical as foreign brands .. Philip Morris USA delivers falsehoods about its product … Philip Morris admits making cigarettes more addictive … Foreign Cigs Healthier"

These aren't provocations of the Black Block, they're headlines from some of the most respectable United States newspapers, like USA Today, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. Read more »

Woodcock "Coglione"?

Twenty Thousand Euro, Yes. Fifteen Million, No…

Monarchia - Repubblica"Coglione": is a very vulgar term, today commonly used in Italy, recently also in the political field. The expression is not easy to translate into English. "Coglione" generally indicates a rather stupid, easily deceived person.

Last month John Henry Woodcock, judge of the Tribunal of Potenza, put behind bars, for criminal association and the exploitation of prostitution, the son of the last king of Italy, Prince Vittorio Emanuele Di Savoia, just recently allowed to return with his family to Italy after 57 years of exile. EU: "Violation procedures" – Italian style

Television yes, cigarettes no.

Paolo Gentiloni

Paolo Gentiloni

“The Government is preparing changes to the law that go precisely in that direction”, promptly underlined Minister Gentiloni, after the European Union started up violation procedures* against Italy for the “Gasparri” Law on telecommunications.

It would seem like advice and admonitions coming from Brussels are taken very seriously in this country. And thanks to the media hammering on the case, Italians know perfectly well today what a “Procedura di Infrazione” (Violation Procedure) is.

Yet, on April 10th of this year, another Violation Procedure was started against Italy for the so-called Minimum Cigarette Price**. But this one was received in absolute, total silence; it was not even mentioned by the government, the opposition or by any organs of information. Read more »

Yesmoke – The open door factory

The new Italian cigarette factory will be ready to go next february.

Yesmoke cigarette factory - Garbuio Primary under constructionCigarette manufacturing is almost by tradition rigorously Top Secret.

But not for Yesmoke: here anyone can visit and see a factory at work, from the treatment of the tobacco to the shipping of the packages.

Yesmoke's manufacturing plant is equipped with the same machines that the giant multinational producers use.

To the surprise of many operators in the sector, Yesmoke managed to get all of them, from the first to the last.

Yesmoke of Turin, besides becoming an Italian company famous around the world (this we expect and hope), will be the pride of the manufacturers, mostly Italian, of machinery for the treatment and processing of tobacco and the production of cigarettes. Read more »

Europe – Brown-noser

Smuggling, tax evasion: Philip Morris owes, to the Italian State alone, not less than 80 billion dollars

Bernardo Provenzano

Bernardo Provenzano is a member of the Cosa Nostra, suspected of being the head of the Corleonesi, a Mafia Family from the village of Corleone, and de facto capo di tutti capi (Boss of Bosses) until his arrest in 2006 after more than four decades on the run

The accounts Yesmoke has been able to examine go back to the 1975 to 1995 period; they were transmitted by the administration of the Italian monopolies (Monopoli Italiani) to the Finance Police (Guardia di Finanza) on May 22, 1995, and they show 60,591 billion old lire of lost fiscal revenues, equal to 37.5 billion dollars. All taxes evaded by Philip Morris, lost income for the Italian State.

The rest, that should bring the total to 80 billion dollars or more, is the fruit of Yesmoke's calculations.

Is it possible that in Europe there is no one who has the will, the integrity, and the courage to say that the band of thieves called Philip Morris, sooner or later, one way or another, will have to pay up for its crimes and its thievery? Read more »

From Italy worldwide

Here is the project Yesmoke is planning to implement to neutralise Big Tobacco, first in Italy and then around the world.

Italy, “The ideal country”

Italy, “The ideal country”

Yesmoke has left Switzerland and moved to Turin, and on the 31st of May, just a few days ago, became Italian. A new high-tech production plant with a capacity of 10 billion cigarettes a year has been under construction for the past eight months and it will be ready to start up next April2007.

“How in the world can you hope to produce cigarettes in a country like this?” the sceptics immediately asked. Italy, in fact, is the "free hunting preserve" of Philip Morris; it's the country where just recently the so-called "Minimum Price" was set for cigarettes. This Minimum Price effectively wiped out the last residual competition of the cigarette-manufacturing cartel, so-called “Big Tobacco”. Read more »

Authorized smuggling

Yesmoke's "Gray Market Shop" is going ahead full speed.

Beagle Boys Inc.By May 22nd 2006, 971,750 cartons had been sold, purchased by "off shore" companies and shipped off to unknown destinations.

If the parallel market for cigarettes ("Gray Market"), is the primary source of supply for smuggling, the Gray Market Shop of the Yesmoke.ch has very probably become the online shop of smugglers.

Today all you need to do is connect to Internet, choose from an assortment of all the most popular brands, make your purchase (minimum = 1 container) and request shipment of the cigarettes to any destination in the world… all absolutely confidential. And it's all done legally and openly. Prodigies of science and technology! Read more »

"Coglione": is a very vulgar term, today commonly used in Italy, recently also in the political field. The expression is not easy to translate into English. Literally it means testicle. “Coglione” generally indicates a rather stupid, easily deceived person.

"This is an important day for Italian agriculture”, enthusiastically declared Minister Gianni Alemanno on May 4th 2005, as he signed an agreement with Philip Morris defined "historical" by Italian information sources.

The “Quality Guidelines” of Italian tobacco had been decided, drawn up together with Philip Morris that undertook to buy 12,800 tons of tobacco per year, increasing its quota by 15% over the preceding years. Read more »
