Italiano Yesmoke – The open door factory
The new Italian cigarette factory will be ready to go next february.
Cigarette manufacturing is almost by tradition rigorously Top Secret.
But not for Yesmoke: here anyone can visit and see a factory at work, from the treatment of the tobacco to the shipping of the packages.
Yesmoke's manufacturing plant is equipped with the same machines that the giant multinational producers use.
To the surprise of many operators in the sector, Yesmoke managed to get all of them, from the first to the last.
Yesmoke of Turin, besides becoming an Italian company famous around the world (this we expect and hope), will be the pride of the manufacturers, mostly Italian, of machinery for the treatment and processing of tobacco and the production of cigarettes.
In fact, these companies will finally be able to show off their machinery at work to their clients coming from all over the world, bringing them to Yesmoke of Turin to visit a model factory equipped with the highest levels of automation.
Hogwash
To purchase, for example, the G.D121-AF12 that can make up to 10,000 cigarettes per minute with the perfection and the high quality expected in a “Premium Brand”, we had been told that we would somehow have to get the “permission” of “Number One”, Philip Morris. So the purchase of top rate machinery by Yesmoke, said the sceptics, would run into countless obstacles.
But, in fact, all the machinery manufacturers were very happy to sell their products to Yesmoke.
Maybe all the hogwash on the excessive power of Big Tobacco finds its explanation in the fact that no one, up to now, has ever had the courage to try and compete with the cigarette producing cartel in their own ballpark, with a product that is technically perfect, as a premium product must be, and therefore produced with the most advanced technology available on the market.
This is why it was generally thought that there was a sort of Big Tobacco veto on the sale of this technology to potential competitors.
The result of this common belief is that the tobacco world today, besides the giants, is made up of a few small companies, almost amateurish, that have no ambition to compete with the Premium Brand makers of Big Tobacco.
These small firms produce acceptable cigarettes, made with good ingredients, but with workmanship, perfection and quality not up to the standards of the famous international names, and with higher production costs.
Companies that would like to manufacture cigarettes think they have to venture into a minefield, they imagine that competing with "Big Tobacco" is a dream that can never come true. Although the business is legal, no one has ever dared to try it.
Will Yesmoke succeed in shattering these clichés?

ANNUAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY*: 10 billion cigarettes (500 million packs of 20 cigarettes, 1,000 40-ft. containers) *in three work shifts.

2 LINES G.DX3 – Packers KS Box – capacity: 500 packs/min.;
2 LINES MK9-MAX-S MOLINS - Cigarettes makers - capacity: 5,000 cigs/min. each;
